We thought Composting would be good for the planet, but large cities face a huge logistical challenge to keep recycling large-scale collection of food scraps, yard trimmings, and worse.

Seoul, South Korea, proves it can be done by recycling 95% of its food waste.  Meanwhile, sites in Sweden, California, and New York are saving money by turning egg shells and carrot tops into biogas.
