Church of Scientology Cruise Ship Quarantined Due to Measles

The Cruise Ship called the FreeWinds, owned by the Church of Scientology, is quarantined by the Carribean nation St. Lucia due to diagnosis of a measles case onboard. The Church of Scientology does not officially object to vaccinations, but it seems someone on its ship did.

According to the Church of Scientology, the Freewinds, a 440 foot ship whose home port is Curacao, is a “religious retreat ministering the most advanced level of spiritual counseling in the Scientology religion.”

Meanwhile, Freewinds is quarantined off the coast of Castries in St. Lucia, due to the outbreak of measles in the United States, the highly infectious nature of the disease, and the diagnosis of the case onboard the vessel.
