Longtime Rivals Collaborate to Develop New Enhanced Gaming Experience

In a surprise partnership, Rivals Sony and Microsoft are joining forces to rule the galaxy…of video gaming.  May 16, 2019, the Sony Corporation and Microsoft Corporation announced they will partner on new consumer experience innovations in their consumer-direct entertainment platforms and AI solutions.

Keep your eyes peeled for upcoming reveals in Microsoft Azure to support game and content streaming services.  The two companies also intend to explore Microsoft Azure datacenter-based solutions for Sony‘s game and content-streaming services.

That’s still not all…Sony and Microsoft will effect collaboration of development of semiconductors, as in new intelligent image sensor solutions, integrating Sony’s cutting-edge image sensors with Microsoft’s Azure AI technology. 

The combined forces will amplify the strengths and fill in the gaps of each entity resulting in incredibly enhanced capabilities and experience for enterprise gaming customers!
