Synpulse launches practice focused on insurance-linked strategies (ILS)

Boutique consulting firm Synpulse, which has been providing services to the broader reinsurance market for over two decades, has now launched a specific practice focused on what it terms the insurance-linked strategies (ILS) market.

Synpulse aims to provide a more dedicated service to what it sees as a growing sector where reinsurance and capital markets are converging, insurance-linked securities (ILS), so has formally launched the Synpulse ILS practice to achieve this goal.

Commenting on the launch, Patrick Roder an Associate Partner at Synpulse, told us, “Our vision is to help our clients to create state-of-the art ILS platforms, enabling them to focus on their core business.” Roder leads the practice, and has over 10 years of experience in reinsurance and banking industries.

It will focus intently on reinsurance operations and the interplay between reinsurance and fund management.
