This Year: Resolve to be Better Informed

It’s that time of the year when people reflect on the past year and make resolutions or goals for the coming new year. Many of this new year’s resolutions are about being healthier. 2020 was a rough year for those who contracted COVID-19. It was also tough for those who use a public or membership gym to stay fit and active. With the introduction of a COVID-19 vaccine, that is changing. Healthy is a good resolution, but maybe 2021 is really the year to be better informed. California’s Proposition 65 restricts nearly 1,000 materials. That can make compliance an overwhelming chose, but there are practical tips that can help clarify what Proposition 65 actually requires. For instance, did you know that Proposition 65 does not require businesses to prove that their products do not contain any of the 1,000 restricted materials?
