Zagar Dedicated Machines and How They are Applied

A Belated Happy Easter and Passover to all of our customers, partners and employees of Zagar Inc. During this time of uncertainty, we hope the joyous holiday time surrounded by family and goodness helped heal.  Here, we celebrated the time of Easter with a three day weekend and with the hope of an end of this pandemic on our world.

That said, I’d really like to talk about one of my favorite subjects: Zagar dedicated machines.  Zagar Inc has a long history of producing dedicated machines to serve a variety of industries including but not limited to Automotive, Aerospace, Appliance, Musical, Computers/IT, and many more industries requiring hole production. A few weeks ago, we had a repair order from a dice factory on the shop floor.  This dedicated machine was made to precision-drill holes in the dice.  Imagine the exacting design and engineering in that kind of machining work. Once the dice were manufactured, they traveled to exotic locations all over the world – more than most of us see in a lifetime.

Other Zagar dedicated machinery is routinely used all across the United States to drill or tap holes in products we use daily, Including steering wheels, clutch parts, carburetors, wheel hubs, washing machine agitators, ceiling tiles for concert halls, as well as a variety of other applications. Most of the population never stops to think about how those holes got there and the role they play in the effectiveness of that product.  When you manufacture it, you are thinking of all of those things, and figuring out how to make the product even more practical, all the while, pushing production costs lower.  Zagar is with you.  We are constantly engineering for efficiency, endurance and speed.

Since a picture is work a thousand words, we want to show you some of our favorite dedicated machine demonstrations.  The first link shares a Zagar Robotic Machine picking up a part and placing it on an indexer, while the machine behind it drills parts.  Each action is coordinated in the controls which are programmed for several different operations within the same machine.

Zagar Inc has created many different types of dedicated machines several with capacities of up to 3500 holes. Our dedicated machines, in all shapes and sizes, making different patterns, many holes, demonstrate Zagar’s engineering knowledge spanning 8 decades.  Zagar Inc. is all here to help assist in the mass production of holes.
